Annie is part of a four generation family who’ve comfortably practiced sustainability in Brooklyn for over a century and she hasn’t skipped a beat.  A professionally accomplished educator, Annie embraces urban green living with infectious enthusiasm – at home, in school, in the community, on Brooklyn Mompost’s spectacular rooftop site - every day.

Sofia Parham-Santana

Sofia, a Brooklyn native loves urban greening, sustainable business models, sustainable product design, thrifting, vintage shopping, and is a color lover.  

Sofia met Annie at the Brooklyn Mompost education site at the Brooklyn Grange Navy Yard.  When Annie passionately explained her compost formula, Sofia immediately fell in love with the process and how it could easily be done in NYC.  Sofia joined Annie to spread the Brooklyn Mompost movement of urban green living.
